A single Hawk 127 Lead-in Fighter aircraft from Number 76 Squadron, based at RAAF Base Williamtown, will arrive from the west at approximately 3pm and carry out a flypast and aerial handling display on the southern side of the Scone airfield before departing to the south.
The aircraft will fly at speeds up to 1000 km/hr and at heights no lower than 60m above ground level.
The RAAF would like to advise members of the local community that fast jet aircraft can sound very different to fixed wing aircraft.
Livestock owners in the vicinity of the Scone Airport should ensure their animals are suitably managed throughout the event.
All flying is subject to change due to weather and operational requirements.
