The 21-year-old, who recently started her own livestock marketing business, secured the title from 1st runner-up Sarah Kemp, of Scone, and 2nd runner-up Muswellbrook’s Georgina Rowlands, who also picked up the Hunter Valley News People’s Choice award.
Sarah Keegan, 16, was named the 2018 Upper Hunter Junior Showgirl ahead of 1st runner-up Holly Witt and 2nd runner-up Bridget Ryan.
The judges conceded their job was “extremely hard” – and thanked coordinator Annie Clendinning for her efforts at short notice.
She stepped into the role for Emily Thorn, who recently had a baby.
