The Hot Dub Wine Machine festival made its Hunter Valley debut at Hope Estate last year and the reception was striking. More than 12,500 people packed the venue in what was an almost-instantly recognisable event.

And come this weekend, wine and music lovers flocked back to the green fields of the Hunter for the second installment. Hot Dub Wine Machine kicked off again at Hope Estate on Saturday.

The Kite String Tangle and Touch Sensitive were the relatively fresh acts on Wine Machine’s 2018 card, but electro-pop group Sneaky Sound System also made an appearance.
