MOTORISTS are advised of changed traffic conditions from next Monday for repairs to the New England Highway at Rixs Creek, 10km west of Singleton.

The work will involve rebuilding a 100m section of the road and carrying out drainage improvements.
Work hours begin on Monday, March 12, and be carried out on weekday from 6.30am to 6pm.
It is expected to be completed by Sunday, May 11, weather permitting.
Occasional night work may also be required between 6pm and 6am, with the exception of Saturdays.
For the safety of workers and motorists, lane closures and a reduced speed limit of 40 km/h will be in place during work hours.
Traffic may be stopped between 9am and 3pm for no longer than 10 minutes.
Outside work hours, there will be a reduced speed limit of 60 km/h.
Motorists are urged to drive to the conditions, follow the direction of signs and traffic control.
