One is located to the west of Howes Valley on private property and in Putty State Forest approximately 8km west of Putty Road.
The fire has burnt 248 hectares and how the fire started is under investigation.
The second blaze is approximately 10km west of Howes Valley.
This is a re-ignition of the Apple Tree fire, which was burning in December 2017.
Firefighters from NSW Rural Fire Service (NSW RFS) and Forestry Corporation (FCNSW), supported by heavy plant and air resources, are currently working to contain this fire.
There no properties under threat.
The NSW RFS advises:
· People with health issues should take the appropriate precautions, such as staying indoors and closing windows and doors to protect themselves from smoke.
· While there are no properties under threat, people living in the area should ensure their homes are appropriately prepared.
· If fire does approach your property, follow your Bush Fire Survival Plan
· Follow any instructions issued by fire fighters
