And, that’s exactly what the St John the Baptist Reedy Creek Church committee is hoping to do this year, as they gear up for their annual community Christmas gathering on Sunday, December 17. In the spirit of the season, the Church is gathering small donations of non-perishable food items to be donated to The Samaritans. Community members can donate by bringing items along to the service, which starts at 5pm.
As well as this, there will be a raffle boasting a range of wonderful gifts. Funds raised through the raffle will go towards repairing the Church’s centrepiece window, which was unfortunately damaged in late October. The committee has been working hard to get their window repaired, though such a venture comes at a cost. By buying a raffle ticket, you not only have a chance to win a range of wonderful prizes, but also help to support the committee in covering the cost of repairs. For enquiries, contact Jenny Marshall (65775617) or Linda Frazer (65775523).
