After losing the inaugural decider to the same opponents earlier in the year, the Ramettes avenged that defeat to the tune of 14-12.
But, they worked hard for the win.
Muswellbrook led 10-8 at half-time, courtesy of Danielle Nicol and Brydie Parker, with Parker kicking a goal.
Singleton’s points came through a brace of tries to Tyler Kersley.
The Greyhounds then hit the front when Brooke Carter dived over but their joy was short-lived when Sophie Laing crossed out wide in the dying minutes.
In the play-off between third and fourth, the Merriwa Magpies upstaged the Murrurundi Mavettes 16-4.
The Magpies enjoyed an 8-4 lead at the break, thanks to a double to Dimity Parker, while Bridget Hunt was the Mavettes’ lone scorer.
The Blackadders, Shae and Maddi, then put the icing on the cake in the second half.
