Almost 30 teams teed off for the event, with proceeds assisting the Where There’s A Will (WTAW) Foundation.

Muswellbrook Race Club chairman John Sunderland said he was delighted with the response.

“It’s great to see so many people [here] today,” he admitted.

“And, hopefully, a big crowd will be on hand at Skellatar Park [for the Cup] on Friday.”

* The Calcutta is scheduled to take place at the Muswellbrook Golf Club from 5pm, with TAB’s Glenn Munsie hosting the event.
