Two More Trains for Singleton Group organises latest trip to Muswellbrook

A TRAIN excursion from Singleton to the Muswellbrook Regional Arts Centre is fast approaching.

The trip, on Thursday, October 19, will co-view the spring exhibition at one of the state’s best regional galleries.

The free exclusive gallery viewing is organised by the Two More Trains for Singleton Group.

It aims to highlight the benefit and need for more train services between Singleton, Newcastle and the Upper Hunter.

The exhibition is free, and worth seeing – all you need is an Opal card for the train.

The exhibit features landscape works by two artists.

In a collection of delicately-etched works, Michèle Heibel explores her relationship with the Hunter Valley and the things that made her fall in love with the region.

Works by Dorothy Wishney are a journey of visual discovery searching for the essence of place and the land.

The train departs Singleton at 5.34pm on Thursday, October 10, arriving at Muswellbrook Station at 6.04pm.

The return trip departs Muswellbrook at 7.24 pm arriving in Singleton at 7.55pm.

The train leaves earlier from Hamilton, Maitland and other Hunter Line stations.
