And, to showcase the event on September 15-17, vice-president Heather Anderson has gone over and above in making a quilt for her car.
“This is 30 years of orphan blocks and UFOs (Un-Finished Objects) – what better use than to create a cover for my car,” she said.
“Some members think I am a little crazy, while most are inspired by the quilt.
“There were times when it felt unachievable, but with the help of a few of my quilting friends dragging the quilt on and off the car to assisting in the fitting, I got there in the end and love the result.”

Proceeds from the Singleton Quilters Inc exhibition, Traditionally Modern, will go towards the HMRI and RFS.
