The annual event will include a mix of the usual attractions, as well as new additions.
The Showgirl competition welcomes three contestants in 2016 – Annie Clenndinning, Cressa Harris, and Zoe Martin. The 2016 Upper Hunter Showgirl will be announced at the show opening around 1.30pm, along with the winner of the People’s Choice Award.
The Young Farmers Challenge is set to return for a second year, after its success in 2015.
For the art fans, there will be a range of artworks and photographs on display in the pavilion, as well as produce and baking sections.
Lots of action will unfold in the centre ring throughout the two-day extravaganza, including demolition derby, FMX Motor Cross, and the inaugural Wife Carrying competition.
