The clip, for the fashion bible’s rapid-fire 73 Questions challenge, finds an akubra-clad Kidman awaiting the interviewer’s arrival on the front steps at the Sutton Forrest property, Bunya Hill.
She leads a tour that takes in the home’s sweeping Georgian verandas, formal dining room, floor-to-ceiling book shelves, many open fireplaces and a darkened billiards room.
‘‘My nickname is pool shark,’’ she tells the camera. She continues into a stand-alone guest cottage, collects eggs from the henhouse, shows off her black Angus and gifts the interviewer home-grown lavender and jam.
‘‘What’s the coolest thing about this home?’’ he asks.
‘‘My six alpacas.’’
Kidman and her country music star husband Keith Urban reportedly bought the 45-hectare Bunya Hill for $6.5 million in 2008.
They soon afterwards lodged development plans for opulent additions including an 18-metre swimming pool, a new gymnasium, a full-size tennis court and 250-metre long grass-covered mounds to line the roadside boundary and guard against the paparazzi’s prying lense.
