St Catherine’s Singleton’s Makayla Hinde was the only medallist, placing second in the 10 years girls, but several of her schoolmates also put on impressive performances.
Arnold Finnigan came 10th in the 11 years boys, Luchia Burgess placed 11th in the 11 years, Regan Champion finished just behind in the same age category in 14th, and Olive Thomas ended up 14th in the girls 12/13 years.
Hilary Thomas, 17th in the girls 10 years, Rhylee Vanoostwaard, 13th in the boys eight/nine years, and Nicholas Whalan, 26th in the boys 11 years, rounded out the athletes from St Catherine’s.
Elsewhere, St Joseph’s Denman’s Ayla Barby came 13th in the girls eight/nine years, while Ben Barby finished 33rd in the boys 11 years.
St Joseph’s Merriwa’s Darcy Taaffe placed 10th in the girls eight/nine years.
St Mary’s Scone had two representatives, Tyla Brown and Milly McRae, who finished 32nd and 30th in the 11 years and eight/nine age category respectively.
St James’ Muswellbrook’s Maggie McTaggart ended 31st in the girls 11 years, Abby Howard came 16th in the same section, and Eve Howard placed ninth in the girls eight/nine years.
