Customer Service and license testing Officer

This state government organisation is seeking customer service professional to work as Customer Service and License Testing Officers in their Dandenong and Frankston offices for a early Feb start date.

Your new role
Your main responsibility will be to provide top quality customer service and conduct license tests in Vic Roads approved vehicle’s. You will have the chance to work in a fast-paced environment as a highly valued member of the customer service team. The few areas you must be flexible to be cross trained in at any time over your time with this organisation and they are: customer service front counter, concierge, license testing officer and computer testing officer.

The role entails extensive off- and on-site training, including learning about customer service, vehicle inspection and registration and license testing.

You will also be on call until 9 am on your roistered days off to cover unforeseen circumstances.

Your role will start off as a 3 month contract with views of extension.

What you'll need to succeed

• Flexibility is the number one things Vic Roads is seeking so you must be flexible to work a variety of different hours changing on a weekly basis.
• Excellent attention to detail and time management skills are key
• Full driver’s licence without any loss of points (or minimal loss of points)
• Willingness to work the hours of 8.30-4.30 (Monday-Friday) and being available to work up to 5 days a week on average 15-38 hours per week.
• License testing involves you being out on the road with learner drivers, assessing and documenting driving skills, while directing them around pre-determined test routes.
