As the sole cook for the service, you will be tasked with the critical job of providing the children at our service with healthy and nutritious meals. You will be required to provide breakfast, morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea and a late snack.

About our Centre

• 95 Place Centre with children aged from 6 weeks to 5 years old
• Excellent work life balance, no late nights or weekend work!
• 30 hours per week, 5 days a week 8:45-3.15pm

About You

• Support the health and wellbeing of the children through planning and preparing nutritious meals and snacks
• Prepare meals to meet the needs of special dietary requirements and allergies
• Exceptional knowledge of safety and wellbeing
• Order food supplies in consultation with the Centre Director
• Ensure safe and hygienic storage, handling and preparation of food and drinks
• Working with Children's Check desirable

If you hold a Food Handling and Menu Planning certificate, and have experience cooking meals within a child care centre or similar environment, then we’d love to meet you!
