The program of this very different outdoor classical concert – on January 12 – in a quiet setting will be inspired by the unique location, nature and the weather.
“As the sun sets on the forest high above the Hunter Valley, concert-goers will be immersed in a nature-led, outdoor, acoustic performance of Bach and other baroque favourites by London-based cellist Anthony Albrecht,” said Martin Fallding from Callicoma Hill Eco-cabins.
“Anthony is one of the Hunter region’s finest musical exports – and returns to Australia regularly to perform.
“He’ll speak about his music, his cello and his feelings for the bush.
“This concert will follow Anthony to three different forested locations for some uplifting solo cello music.
“Between the music, there is time to enjoy a BYO picnic dinner, with the final music played under the starlit sky.”
Callicoma Hill Eco-cabins will host the Bach to the Bush performance on the weekend, with the concert starting about 6pm.
Overnight bush camping and shared bunkhouse accommodation is available.
Guests staying overnight will enjoy a unique morning breakfast concert.
