More than 25 organisations, from businesses to community groups, informed local residents of the many options available to them within the Upper Hunter.
“We’re really thrilled with the response,” TransCare promotions officer Jemma Anshaw said.
“There was great diversity among the stallholders.
“This is why we wanted to bring everything together in one place by hosting an expo event.
“I have personally been learning so much about the community while promoting it – like Muswellbrook Library offering technology workshops and book delivery services.”
The format was prosperous in Scone in March, when TransCare hosted a mini expo as a part of the Seniors Festival.
It is hoped that the Muswellbrook extravaganza can now become a regular event on the annual calendar.
