Three of the four rodeos in the APRA for the month are in the premier state.
The K Ranch Cowboy Christmas Rodeo at Mt Hunter will be on November 12, an Xtreme Bulls event at K Ranch at Mt Hunter on November 18 and an Xtreme Bulls is scheduled for Leppington on November 25.
The 2016-2017 season ended on September 30 and the top 15 in each of the eight championship events qualified for the Warwick Rodeo APRA National Finals in late October.
Now all attention moves to the new “year”.
The majority of APRA rodeos in the first three months of the season are in NSW, Victoria, Tasmania and South Australia with only one in Queensland at Mitchell on New Year’s Eve.
Two of the major APRA events in December will be the Young Rodeo in NSW on December 2 and The Rock near Wagga Wagga on December 16.
One of the two biggest runs in the APRA, the Christmas Run, starts at Myrtleford in Victoria on December 26 and ends at Finley in NSW on January 5.
There are also NSW rodeos in the holiday period at Tumbarumba on January 1 and the Sweetwater Timed Event Rodeo on January 3.
