Pupils are being put through their paces by club members Bev Shoobert and Di McLoughlin – and the lessons are starting to pay off.
“The students are lucky to have these lovely ladies volunteer to teach them to play bowls, the rules and the techniques required to be able to participate in the sport,” principal Leeanne Batho said.
“The school is also thankful to the Murrurundi Bowling Club for donating the hire of the green each week.
“I hear there are some upcoming bowlers among our students.
“I hope they can now feel confident enough to participate in some of the community bowling days at the club.”
