Previously held in Singleton, the two major events have attracted a large following from both local and surrounding communities.
Competitors have previously travelled from the Central Coast, Sydney, Canberra, Melbourne, Western Australia and even Tasmania in a bid to win a top title, and this year is expected to be no exception.
The two events, made possible by international sponsors including Xpole Australia, Luna Polewear, Rarr Designs, Salt Dance Company, The Makeup Wardrobe, Clique Styling and LeBrocq’s Locks and Beauty, will showcase a range of local talent (see full list at the end of article).
For local Salt Dance Company members, pole dancing is a fun-filled sport that helps build both strength and confidence. What the competitions aim to do is showcase the art and sport of pole dancing across different abilities and skill levels, right from the youngest competitor at seven-years-old through to the oldest and most experienced competitor at 47-years-old.
Along with local talent, international fitness and pole dancing champions Amy Hazel, Amber Ray, Bailey Hart, Katy Eve and Deb Roach will be performing on the night and lending their expertise through the judging panel.
Though those interested in attending the event ought to get their tickets quick, considering last years’ competition completely sold out. The Grass Roots Pole Dancing Championships will kick off at 2pm, while the 2017 Hunter Valley Pole Perfection will begin at 6pm.
Tickets for the event are available via www.trybooking.com.
