Around 30 ARVN (Army of the Republic of Vietnam) visitors from Sydney attended the service, and children from Muswellbrook schools participated in the proceedings.
Muswellbrook High School provided music for the occasion and students from Muswellbrook South Public School and Muswellbrook Public School spoke to those present.
Vietnam Veterans Day falls on the anniversary of the Battle of Long Tan – August 18, 1966 – and is an opportunity to remember all conflicts from the war.
