The Aberdeen’s Golden Oldies monthly movie mania will return in August, with a new offering – Charlie and Boots.
The 2009 film, staring Shane Jacobson and Paul Hogan, follows a father and son on their travels from Victoria to Cape York, in an attempt to fulfill their lifelong ambition to fish off Australia's northern tip.
The Upper Hunter Museum of Rural Life Inc. event exists to raise funds and awareness for the establishment of a museum and culture centre in Aberdeen.
All are invited to attend, on Tuesday, August 8, and enjoy a three course luncheon.
Doors open at 11.30am at Aberdeen Sports and Recreation Club auditorium.
Cost is $10 and includes the movie screening and a three course luncheon.
