Throughout the years there has been numerous changes within the beef industry and the Hereford breed but one thing that has never changed is the marketability and predictability of the wonderful Hereford breed, according to Mark Campion. The stud’s 33rd annual on-property bull sale will be held at “Brooklington” Pinkett on August 4, at 1pm.
On offer will be 32 rising two-year-old Hereford bulls, which have been paddock reared and ready to work.
“We are very proud of our long association with this great breed and the success we’ve had with it,” Mark Campion said.
“Through the years with careful sire selection and a rigorous culling of our female herd we have been able to breed an elite cow herd of tremendous quality, correctness and milking ability, which has allowed us to put together quality even drafts of sought after Hereford genetic and this year’s offering is proof of that.”
The sale draft is sired by Devon Court Eclipse, Cootharaba Nolan, Thornleigh Jerry, Cootharaba Sabine, Reedy Creek Titanic and Thornleigh Grange.
