Another big crowd was on hand to commemorate Anzac Day – and Muswellbrook Sub-Branch president Craig Ross was happy with the way “things fell into place”.

“It’s a beautiful day and it’s great to see so many people here,” he said.

“My thanks to everyone who put it all together, as well as those who participated and supported this special occasion.”

The guest speaker was Captain Matthew Hudson RAN, who spoke about “mateship” – a topic which is just as relevant today as it was back then.
