While 200 people attended the Dawn Service at the Moray Street Memorial, hundreds more lined the New England Highway later in the day for the annual parade.
The march and Remembrance Service, which included guest speaker Captain Chris Wetherell, was then followed by brunch in the Aberdeen RSL auditorium.
“They [Aberdeen Care Package Cadets] have achieved targets over the past 12 months that we should all be proud of,” chairperson Doc Milton said.
“So, it was fitting for them to lead the march.
“We’re very happy with today’s crowds.
“It shows that our wonderful country was worth fighting, and dying, for.”
