And, on April 30, Wallabadah Rock will be the next location for the National Parks Association Bushwalking.
“We are so fortunate to have incredible geological and biological diversity a short drive from home,” Wendy Wales said.
“The March walk was on the Cedar Log Trail in Towarri National Parks led by Frank Grennan and Annie Maguire.
“Sixteen people shared the wonder that is hillsides of shimmering grass trees, snow gums pockets of lush tree ferns, monster mushrooms bigger than footballs (Phlebopus marginatus) and outstanding views.
“The group all enjoys the social and health benefits of being out in nature for the day and improve their fitness climbing the inevitable hills.
“If you are interested in being a guest on a National Parks Association 60th Anniversary Walk, our next one will be to Wallabadah Rock on April 30.”
