Children go to school without breakfast, families struggle to put enough on the table to go around, and people sleeping rough cannot always get what they need to stay healthy.
Donating food items or parcels is a great way of helping out the community and can make a huge difference to an individual or family.
Upper Hunter Community Services offers an Emergency Relief Program and is finding there is more of a need for food assistance in our community.
We are in desperate need for non-perishable pantry items due to our funding being exhausted.
If you are able to make a donation of non-perishable items your assistance would be greatly appreciated and valued within the community.
Donations can be dropped off to UHCS, QEII Building (next to Simpson Park), Muswellbrook.
The items needed the most are:
• 2 minute noodles / noodle bowls
• Pasta and spaghetti
• Soup/packet/tinned
• Baked Beans
• Tinned Spaghetti
• Pasta Packets / Continental / Mac and Cheese
• Pasta Sauces
• Weetbix
• Vegemite
• Longlife Milk
