The annual Newcastle Herald summer photo competition has proven so popular we have extended it across the four seasons and expanded it to other Fairfax Media mastheads in the region.
Those titles include the Maitland Mercury, Port Stephens Examiner, Singleton Argus, Lakes Mail, Newcastle & Lake Macquarie Star, Cessnock Advertiser, Dungog Chronicle, Muswellbrook Chronicle, Scone Advocate and Hunter Valley News.
A team of judges will select the winning and highly commended entries. A readers’ choice award will be voted via theherald.com.au and the websites of our Hunter titles.
You can shoot your pictures with anything from a Box Brownie to an iPhone. The overall winners each season will collect the Hunter Photography Prize. The judges’ decisions are final.
The camera prize packages are from Domayne Kotara.
