The State Crime Command’s Robbery and Serious Crime Squad is investigating armed robberies at service stations in Muswellbrook, Maitland, Raymond Terrace, Heatherbrae and Islington in June and July.
Following the attempted armed robbery at a service station on Maitland Street, Muswellbrook, about 10.15pm on Monday June 6, a group of men were spotted near the railway station. Three men have been arrested and charged in connection with the robbery investigation. Their matters remain before the court.
On Friday detectives released images of a male they believe can assist with further inquiries. He is depicted as being of Caucasian appearance, aged in his late teens, with a slim build and dark hair.
This male is urged to come forward.
