Numbers were down compared to previous years but all competitors were there to try out their skills.
Judge for the day was Kay Devine from Quirindi.
With the ring events starting at 9am, the young riders worked their way through the many classes on the fully-sponsored program.
The Frank Daley Memorial Open Hack was won by Kash Lawson’s Georgie, ridden by Lawson’s mother Loretta.
Prunella Hayes, on Strawberry, took out the Bowen Family Champion Rider Trophy.
The Ant and Linda McCulloch Trophy for Highest Point Score in the led classes was snared by Paige Caruthers riding Dash.
The trophy and medallion were presented to a very excited Caruthers and her family.
The junior flag team relay was won by Tameka Edwards, Pip Watson and Mikayla Croft.
