Representatives from Denman, Scone, Merriwa, Greta-Braxton, Singleton and hosts Muswellbrook Amateur RSL Youth Swimming Club contested 92 races – from freestyle to backstroke, breaststroke to butterfly and numerous relays.
Heading into the weekend competition, and following the Scone event a fortnight ago, Greta-Branxton led the progressive handicap pointscore with a tally of 1361.
Merriwa (1342), Muswellbrook (1318) and Scone (1235) closely followed behind.
Denman (577 points) and Singleton (495) were hoping to make some headway on the frontrunners with a big performance.
