Branch manager Tanya Rains said the morning tea fundraising had been fantastic.

“We decided to host the morning tea because it’s something myself and the team feel strongly about,” she said.

“In the last financial year Regional Australia Bank gave back $10,000 to the Cancer Council through our Community Partnership Program.

“When our customers sign up for a transaction account attached to our Community Partnership Program, they decide which charity or community group they’d like to support and Regional Australia Bank donates an equivalent of 1 per cent of their average annual account balance to the group at no cost to the customer.

“It’s great to work for an organisation that not only financially supports groups like this, but encourages grassroots support like hosting fundraisers.”
