Jayden and Bryson Rodgers, Billy Van Eerde and Alex Kenworthy-Jones are heading to the Central Coast to showcase their skills against some of the finest riders in the state.
And, the quartet is well-placed to make their mark on the event, according to Wayne Jones.
“We have a number of very talented youngsters in Singleton, especially Billy [Van Eerde]” he said.
"He has a massive future ahead of him.
“And, this weekend, will see the boys face NSW’s best junior riders at Somersby.
“Being the last title for the flat track calendar, the competition will be fierce.
“So, we wish Jayden and Bryson, Billy and Alex a safe and speedy weekend.
“Flat track racing is an emerging sport in Australia, with the likes of Troy Bayliss, Casey Stoner and even Chad Reid starting their motorsport career learning and honing their bike control skills.”
At the age of 13, Kenworthy-Jones is the youngest of the Singleton contingent.
“Alex has been competing for the past four years at state and national level,” Jones said.
“With a fourth place at the NSW Dirt Track Championship in Kurri earlier this season, hopes are high for him to follow on Billy’s footsteps and climb onto the winner’s podium this Sunday.”
