And, their latest offering has a little more horsepower.
On Saturday, September 10, the inaugural Sandy Hollow Motorfest will bring the community together for a good cause.
Sandy Hollow Westpac Rescue Helicopter Support Group president Mick Turner said the committee sat down and worked out other ideas raise money for the service.
The motorfest option received a lot of support, and before long, planning was rolling along.
Motor enthusiasts and families are all welcome to join in the fun behind Sandy Hollow Tourist Hotel, on September 10.
Activities on offer include a ride-on lawn mower race, a petting zoo, a jumping castle and face painting.
Mr Turner is hoping to see between 200 and 400 cars at high-powered function.
“We are trying to cram it all into one beautiful day,” he said.
“Come and support the Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service, enjoy the day and have a look around.”
Mr Turner said the committee would aim to make the event an annual occurrence, if the 2016 event proved successful.
Gates open at 9am.
Entry is $10 per car, and $2 per person.
Children younger than 10 can enter at no cost.
