Kurri Kurri Bowling Club’s Nathan Dawson will have a busy tournament, competing in the open singles event and captaining Kurri in the open pairs and and open triples.
DJ Dilworth will lead the Maitland City team in the fours final.
Telarah Bowling Club’s George Wahle will feature in the senior singles.
East Maitland Bowling Club will be represented in two pairs games, B. Hughes will lead his club in the senior pairs while P. Watson will skipper the presidents reserve pairs.
Singleton Bowling Club will also feature in the event, with B. Taylor contesting the presidents singles.
All of these competitors will compete for the Hunter District against teams from the Upper Hunter for the chance to go on to the State Championships.
The singles competition starts at 9am Saturday, followed by the pairs at 1pm and the triples and the fours on Sunday from 9am.
