Twenty-nine-year old hairdresser Renee Lenz died in a one-car accident in rainy weather on the Princes Motorway at Bulli Tops on Saturday afternoon.

At about 3.10pm, the Fairy Meadow resident was travelling towards Wollongong just north of Cararact Creek.

A NSW Ambulance spokesman said she is believed to have clipped the jersey barrier in the middle of the road.

Her car then ricocheted off the barrier, spinning 180 degrees before hitting a tree just behind the driver’s side door.

Ambulance crews found Ms Lenz unconscious when they arrived on the scene.

She suffered head, chest and abdominal injuries and died at the scene.

In a heartfelt Facebook tribute to his fiancee Andrew Tugrul spoke of Ms Lenz, who had just got her “dream job”.

“Baby if I could tell you just 1 more time I love you, hold you close and tell you everything was going to be okay. I’d trade my soul with the devil to be with you 1 last time,” Mr Tugrul wrote.

“You have left such an impression on my life and so many others.

“The goals you have achieved in your short time in this form are all such huge milestones.

“You will be forever and so … sadly missed. I love you my beautiful queen.”

People left tributes to Ms Lenz on the Mercury's Facebook page.

 “So sad  – RIP beautiful girl,” wrote Lee-Ann Tasker.

“OMG, this is devastating. RIP you beautiful soul," said Tiahnee Kerewaro.

“Forever our angel, always loved, always in our hearts. RIP sweet beautiful girl,” said Narelle Carey.

Officers attached to the Wollongong Local Area Command are investigating Ms Lenz’s accident.

Any witnesses who have not yet spoken to police are urged to come forward and contact Crime Stoppers.

A report into the accident will be prepared for the Coroner.

Ms Lenz’s death was one of four fatalities on NSW roads during the state’s stormy weekend.
