There was an excellent roll-up of 68 players from right across the Hunter region.
As usual, the course was in tip-top condition and with some challenging pin positions.

Men –
A grade - Rod Auld won with 39 stableford points, including an ace on the 17th ($100 prize), from Terry Mitchell 36 (countback), Phil Ledgerwood and Gary Morley 35
B grade – Gus O’Brien won with 40 points from Ken Thornton 38, Bob Minch 36 and Les Cope 35 (countback)
C grade – Jeff McKeon won with 35 points from Paul Gorman 34, Bob Lawman 33 and Les Brown 31
Women –
A grade – Christine Smith won with 36 points on a countback from Pam Minch and Di Thorley 34 (countback)
B grade – Chris Noonan won with 38 points from Barb Hunter 35 and Marion Flanagan 33

Late last month, some of the members took part in a game at Crowne Plaza – Hunter Valley Golf and Country Club, Cessnock.
On Tuesday, May 31, the Upper Hunter Veteran Golfers will contest a stableford event at Murrurundi. Hit-offs are from 8am till 9.30am.
