On Saturday, the Upper Hunter Wine and Food Affair will return to Ogilvie Street, Denman.
And, the annual event is offering a completely revamped selection of children’s entertainment.
Event manager Troy Jones said there would be a great variety of activities on offer.
For those who like action, there will be go carts for friendly competition with friends.
There will be the latest range of amusement rides and activities.
“Everything is completely new,” Mr Jones said.
“Go carts is a pretty cool addition to this year.”
And, GJs Laser Tag and Sparkles the Clown will be returning to entertain children once again.
Entry to the event is $10 for adults and $5 for children.
Once the $5 has been paid for children, they are able to enjoy unlimited rides all day.
Since it was established 13 years ago, the affair has provided a place for local producers and, artists, and musicians to display their work.
Mr Jones said there is plenty on offer for adults as well.
“There are a lot more exhibitors,” he said.
“We’ve got the biggest wood chopping we’ve ever had.”
This year will also see the introduction of beer with Hunter Beer Co, as well as great entertainment with five bands performing throughout the day.
New food exhibitors include Berlin Bangers, Viet Yum, Korean BBQ and Goose on the Loose.
“We also have Upper Hunter Smokehouse with their Denman jerky,” Mr Jones said.
The excitement will begin at 11am and go through to 4pm.
“It’s just a great community event and has a good feel,” Mr Jones said.
“It brings the entire community together.”
An official event glass with tasting tokens will be available for $5.
The monster wood chop will begin at 11am and there will be an aerobatic stunt plane on show from 11.15am.
