Earlier in the day, Greta Branxton claimed the women’s league tag fixture while Muswellbrook was on target to return the favour in the Hunter Valley Group 21 Rugby League under-18 encounter.
The fiery first half featured an all-in brawl and three players – Dion Charnock (Colts), Zac Dean (Rams) and Lochlan Paine (Rams) – receiving 10 minutes in the sin bin.
Muwellbrook tackled Greta Branxton in all four grades to mark round four of the 2016 season.
