There is so much happening around the Hunter Valley over the long weekend that it is difficult to single out a few, but here’s a couple of our favourites that you shouldn’t miss:

The Hunter Valley Gardens will be hosting a fantastic program of activities, entertainment and prizes over the Easter Long Weekend.
During Easter Saturday and Sunday, join the Easter Bunny to search for lots – and we mean lots - of coloured eggs in our Giant Easter Egg Hunt.
Every child will receive a gift of Easter chocolate at the completion of the hunt.
On Good Friday visit the Vintage for a free musical performance by Anna Weatherup, an International Award Winning Musician, who is currently working on her fourth studio album.
Anna's music is soulful and raw. It includes a mix of folk, gospel, soul, light rock and a touch of country.
Various venues around Wine Country will be hosting a Seafood Feast on Good Friday, view the what’s on section on the website to find out which ones.
Handmade in the Hunter Markets at Kevin Sobels winery will take place on Saturday and Sunday - allowing you to discover the variety and quality of goods grown, made and crafted by Hunter Valley artisans.
Sobels was recently made a Hunter Valley wine industry “living legend’ – an honour awarded to those who have given great service to the Hunter wine industry over a long period.
His cellar door is centrally located on Broke Road and if you’re lucky you will more than likely be greeted at the cellar door by Archie, his laid back Saint Bernard dog.
The Vintage will present its free family Movie Under the Stars program. So bring your picnic rug and grab your spot on the Fairway Lawn. Its Good Friday Seafood Feast is always a popular event too.
Alternatively, head to Sebel Kirkton Park for a taste of fresh seafood and chocolate. Their Good Friday Feast is a must.
