A crowd of about 200 people converged on the Singleton Senior Citizens’ Centre in Bathurst Street on Friday – and soaked up plenty of festive spirit.
The Samaritans, in partnership with the Anglican Parish of Singleton, provided not only a Christmas feast and lots of activities for everyone, but arranged a visit from Santa, and his mate Elf, to ensure all the children were looked after, too.
“We receive amazing support,” Samaritans Christmas Lunch – Singleton coordinator Wendy Love said.
“And, for that, we can’t thank everyone enough.”
