The annual teapot exhibition kicked-off on Thursday and will be on display until August 30.
Zebras, tigers, giraffes, frogs and pink puffy poodles are just some of the designs in this year’s teapot exhibition.
More than 2000 teapots have been put on display plus hundreds of tea cosies, which have also been judged for the novelty cosy competition.
“We have had the most tea cosy entries on record this year with 307,” Kylie Richards from Campbell’s Store said.
“There were at least 10 that could have won, they were all of a really high standard.”
The grand champion of the tea cosy competition was Diane Burley from Woy Woy, who created a masterpiece called Hopeful.
There were seven categories, including WWI commemoration tea cosies which should be a crowd favourite as the nation reflects on the centenary of the Gallipoli landings.
The winner of the commemoration category was a piece by Jan Knight inspired by the story of Simpson and his donkey.
“My favourite is the snail, it is so well fitted and cute,” Ms Richards said.
“But really all of them are amazing.”
Each year the event draws teapot collectors and lovers of all things cute and quirky.
There will be teapot painting demonstrations by Raymond Terrace artist Florence Humphreys who is well-known for her native floral designs.
Plus there will be tea, chocolate, gingerbread and honey tastings.

Annual spring orchid show
Maitland and Coalfields District Orchid Society Inc will hold its annual Spring Show in Morpeth this weekend.
It will be at at St James’ Church Hall, on the corner of Tank and High streets, from 9am to 4pm on Friday, Saturday and 9am to 3pm Sunday The Spring Show is the final one of the year.
Benched orchids will be judged by representatives from the Australian Orchid Council. There will be a variety of orchid plants for sale and experienced orchid growers will be available to give advice on orchid culture. For details phone 4936 4631.
