The big favourite, 24-hour Solo World Champion Jason English from Port Macquarie, defended his title to claim victory in the sixth consecutive year.
Jason English managed to ride consistently to create a comfy gap into the night, claiming the title after completing 25 laps in 12:19:15 hours just after 10pm on Saturday night.
The elite category title was won by Charlie McCabe from the Central Coast, while Michael Schmitt from Canberra took out the U23 solo victory.
Wendy Stevenson from Sydney won the women’s division overall, ahead of the Blue Mountain’s Catherine Wood.
Brett Bellchambers defended his long-standing JetBlack 12-hour Singlespeed Bike title, finishing as third solo racer overall.
Fellow single-speeder Michael Timp from the Central Coast was fourth overall.
Four teams entered the event from the Upper Hunter: two from Baerami, one from Denman and one from Muswellbrook.
Unfortunately, they did not poll in any noteworthy positions.
Deputy Mayor of Muswellbrook Shire Council, Malcolm Ogg, attended the start of the race, with the weather holding off for most of the 12-hour ride.
