Bureaucrats confirm ambassador tarmac snub but deny Stephen Brady offered resignation

Australia's ambassador to France was told by a mid-ranking hospitality official in the Prime Minister's department that his partner should not be in the "greeting line" when Prime Minister Tony Abbott flew into Paris on Anzac Day.
