The Masters batted first on the weekend and set a total of 121 from their 20 overs.
Former NSW batsman Corey Richards was the standout for his side, belting 76 runs from the top of the order.
Lisa Sthalekar (11) was the only other player to reach double figures.
Singleton’s bowlers were disciplined, with Max Hillier (2/23) and Blake Cook (2/23) leading the way.
Their batsmen chased down the total with one over to spare as opener Dan Oldknow (47), Darren Thompson (32) and Nick Stokes (29 not out) all contributed.
Valley’s second grade skipper Daniel Storey, who was unbeaten on 3, said the match was decided by a couple of crucial incidents.
“They dropped a couple of catches, which probably cost them the game,” he said.
“[Former Australian International] Clint McKay bowled a fiery spell for them and it was a close match, but in the end those misses were the difference.”
Storey will now prepare for his team’s grand final against Muswellbrook RSL this weekend.
Valley has beaten RSL in their three previous meetings this season.
However, Storey believed it would come down to the performance of his team’s batting.
“We’re confident heading into the game but we need our top four batsmen to score most of the runs for us,” he said.
“It’s our strength, if we can get going early then we usually put on a good total.
“They’ve got quality bowlers though, which they proved against Creeks in their semi-final.”
