Carey hit five sixes and 17 boundaries during his match-winning knock.
PCH captain Daniel Oldknow had earlier set-up a strong total for his team with an equally impressive innings of 121.
Both sides bowlers struggled in hot conditions as only Valley’s Tom Cox (2-36) and PCH’s Tully Winsor (2-24) were able to make an impact.
Meanwhile, there was another high-scoring clash at Howe Park, with Glendon comfortably beating JPC by 47 runs.
Joe Butler’s 60, Pat Dennis’ 49 not out and Greg Thrift’s 36 led Glendon to a solid 7/238.
Bowlers Tim Gore (2-33) and Nathan Levy (2-57) briefly stalled the onslaught.
PC replied with 191 as only Rod Luxford (70), Nick Stokes (38) and Darren Thomson (27) offered any resistance.
Aaron Brennan tore through JPC’s batting line-up to end with the figures of 5/30.
