The library will be launching their return of their successful Summer Reading Club program with a sausage sizzle next Thursday, November 27, at Singleton Library from 5pm to 8pm.
Last year 500 people of all ages participated and staff members are hoping this will increase to 600 this year.
“We want to emphasise it doesn’t matter what you read,” Singleton library’s Rob Stuart said.
Registrations will open at the launch and people can continue to sign up until Friday, January 30, 2015.
Those wishing to be a part of the program need to be a library member.
The rewards for reading will be more than literary with prizes including iPad minis and eReaders thanks to Glencore Coal.
On Friday, February 13, prizes will be drawn including the special schools prize for the school who completes the most reading hours.
