This year the Guild adopted the name La Vie En Rose for the exhibition that showcased two years work by the members.
The Guild has been holding the exhibition over the years for three reasons.
One to give the broader community an opportunity to see the delicate creations, secondly to raise a little cash for their group and thirdly, to encourage others to pick up a needle and thread.
Among those at yesterday’s exhibition included two busloads of visitors from Tamworth.
Others made the trip from Morpeth, Muswellbrook and Newcastle.
The group has been existence for 42 years and aims to preserve the techniques and traditions of the art form alive.
They will soon move to new premises at the former Albion Park Tennis Club and will share the venue with those involved with Singleton Community Garden, which has been planted adjacent to the building.
