Ruby and Monica Brown are hosting a high tea for Dr Catherine Hamlin.
Dr Hamlin is an Australian doctor who established Fistula Hospitals in Ethiopia, with her husband.
The hospitals started by the Hamlins provide life-changing surgery to repair horrific childbirth injuries in Ethiopian women.
The doctors are also training Ethiopian doctors to perform the complex surgeries to help these women, who often give birth without a midwife or medical help.
The Aberdeen morning tea will raise funds to support this initiative in Ethiopia and all are welcome to attend.
High Tea for Hamlin will be at 42 Perth Street, Aberdeen, on Friday, September 19, from 10am to 12pm.
For more information, or to RSVP, contact Monica on 0409 913 453.
