After falling victim to the Devils in the 2013 decider, the Colts held on to claim an 18-16 triumph in front of more than 3000 people at Greta Central Oval.
Denman captain Blake Dureau had an opportunity to send the match into extra-time.
But, his sideline conversion fell a few metres short of the target.
The Scone Thoroughbreds claimed the double in reserve grade and women’s league tag.
The girls pipped Singleton 9-8 while the reserves accounted for the Greyhounds 21-6.
In an entertaining under-18 showdown, the Devils put the Muswellbrook Rams to the sword 14-10.
